Bamileke Feather Headdresses and Suzani Textiles

A few of my favorite things...

Feather Headdress -
I have used Bamileke Feather Headdresses as wall art in many of my design projects.  For me, they offer a refreshing break from framed art or canvases and can give a room that unexpected pop of color and texture. Handmade by the tribes in Cameroon – these headdresses are said to represent prosperity, freedom and beauty.  It is important to note that moths love to eat the feathers on these pieces. If you notices tiny little moths, fold up the headdress and put it in the freezer for a month or so. This should remedy the issue.

Suzani Textiles
Handcrafted in Uzbekistan - Known for their vibrant color and beautiful patterns - Suzani textiles can be used in numerous applications – Including pillows, bedspreads, upholstery for furniture, wall hangings, etc.
