Design Inspiration of the Week - Curtis Jere or as I like to think of this design collaborative - The Metal Magic Masters! This design duo - Curtis Freiler and Jerry Fels created some of the most beautiful metal art around. Pieces range from the abstract to the realistic. Either way - this metal work adds whimsy and punctuation to a space - especially Mid Century. If you like these vintage pieces as much as I do - they can be found on the web and 1st Dibs is always a good place to start.

Can you say... Pretty in Pale Pink!!! Always a favorite color of mine - I love seeing this subtle hue trending all over the place! Inviting, comfortable and sophisticated - this color can lend itself as an accent or the anchor of a space without being overpowering.

DUALCHAS Architects - This Scottish firm certainly understands a thing or two about "less is more". The raw simplicity of these beautifully understated homes takes nothing away from the land and blends seamlessly with nature. It would certainly be a real treat for me to pair my interiors with these stunning homes!

YUMI OKITA - Textile Artist. Now that is what I call metamorpho-stitch!!! I would love to see a whole wall of these beautiful textile moth sculptures! The selected colors and amazing detail showcase this artist's undeniable talent. Her Etsy store currently has no inventory, but her work is so remarkable - I had to share!

SUZANNE BELPERRON- Jewelry Designer. The sculptural quality of her work is what attracts me most to her pieces. Many of her designs are bezel set - which offers the stone a simple resting place to showcase it's natural beauty. Most jewelry is symmetrical and I love how she incorporates asymmetry into her pieces to strike a unique balance. Belperron stated "my style is my signature" and that is certainly apparent in the authentic quality of her work.
